Ferrari 250 GT/E 2+2 The Ferrari 250 GT/E 2+2 holds a special place in Ferrari’s history as the brand’s first true four seater, introduced in 1960. Under the bonnet lies the renowned 3.0 litre Colombo V12, producing approximately 240 horsepower, paired with a 4 speed manual gearbox. With a top speed of around 230 kmh, it delivered impressive performance for its time, while the extended wheelbase and clever packaging allowed for genuinely usable rear seats. Over our 250 GT/E: This Ferrari 250 GT/E 2+2, chassis 2675 GT, was built in 1961 and factory specified in the elegant ‘Grigio Fumo’ with a ‘Beige’ leather interior. Shortly after delivery, the car was repainted in red and fitted with a beige interior. In recent years, however, it has been returned to its original factory specification with the utmost care and without compromise. The restoration, which took place between 2023 and 2025, was carried out to the highest possible standard by Quality Cars srl in Padova, Italy, with a total investment of no less than €300,000. The result is an exceptional example that today presents itself in virtually concours condition. In 2025, this 250 GT/E received its official Classiche certification from Ferrari, confirming the authenticity and originality of the chassis, components and overall specification. Since completion of the restoration, the car has covered just 307 kilometres, further emphasizing its exceptional condition. It is accompanied by an extensive and well documented history file, including invoices and records detailing where and when the car has resided throughout its life. Originally delivered in California, the car spent the majority of its life in the United States, further enhancing its provenance.
